Are you on WiFi. ? Try it with your box downpowered I believe there is a bug in the sky software our issue was due to box not having a signal we couldn't watch live TV due to the app seeing our box unplugged box and works .

If your having issues with sky go when only on WiFi there appears to be a bug in the software when it can see the box.
Our issue was our box doesn't have reception due to some idiot putting scaffolding up next door and the live stream on skygo just would error out un plugged the box and worked
Sky sort it out.....

Now your TV service has been installed you should be able to watch the same content via the app that you can see via your Q box, prior to that you would have been give free access to everything.

SkyGo Device PIN confusion
How do you setup a device only PIN number on android phones without affecting the TV PIN associated with my Sky account. Some programs downloaded directly to my phone eg City on a Hill cannot be viewed on my phone unless a separeatePIN is entered. This not the TV PIN.
The link given in an April post is rather confusing - or is it just old age catchjing up with me?

Just watched 3 hours of darts on BBC I player with no interruption.
Watching footy (on 401 tried 402) on sky go and the issue continues.
It's not like we have a service provided from Poundland, where expectations would be low, this is supposed to be a global brand and we should not be expected to try different things (See previous posts) to sort this.
Please please it was fine throughout the summer, so what have you done????
Any answer would be appreciated instead of your perceived head in the sand mentality.

Wrong postcode when registering sky go
When setting up sky go, my son put wrong postcode (used his own) in error when pairing up with sky box. How do I change it as he doesn't have a current subscription

Low res picture quality since last update?
Since the last update the picture quality has been terrible. On any device its now low res only, previous to the update it used to be HD with no problems, it's unwatchable on my pc monitor because its so low res even when watching on my phone it looks terrible. I've switched back to the Q app and it's picture quality is still HD unfortunately there isn't a Q app for windows 10.

For this error if you can try contacting to a mobile hotspot and then disable it and try again or make sure that any firewalls you have running are letting the app through and are not blocking it.

Purchased film unable to watch on Sky Q app
Hi.
I purchased a film as buy and keep on my Sky Q box, and it's appeared on both boxes fine. However I've tried downloading this on my device (iPhone) via the Sky Q app and although I can see the film in purchased, I can't download it to watch offline. Is there a way I can download this as I've purchased it to keep?

You should be able to watch any films you have purchased via Buy and Keep on the Sky Store app.
