Installed SkyGo on to my windows 11 laptop. It would not launch once installed, looked in here and found numerous threads on the same issue, tried many of the resolutions suggested without success.
Then I saw something about security software could be an issue. So zi temporarily disabled my McAfee security, and the SlyGo desktop app worked. Then it said about adding files to the scan exception list, so I added the SkyGo.exe file, and enabled McAfee security. Tried the SkyGo app again. And a no go again.
So for now, when I want to launch SkyGo. I disable McAdee security. Launch the app. Once it has syccessfully launched, enable McAfee security again
I know it works and it's a bit belt and braces, but there must be a more efficient and perment fix I can use?
