The actual downloads haven't changed, so it shouldn't have introduced sound problems.
As for the auto deletion - that's always been present on both desktop and phone/tablet versions. It's a licencing restriction from their content providers.
Actually the sound levels have changed, even though the downloads haven't, the way the player transmits the sound has altered somehow. Some of the left speaker sounds don't come through anymore for some of the background noises.
Before you add, " that it must be my system", every other player works great and sound quality is perfect. Netflix, amazon, iplayer and channel 4 players all have better sound quality now since I upgraded to windows 10, sky go is the only one that has a diminished quality
What with the jumping and skipping of the player, while in offline mode, the player has taken a big step backward in development.
As for the remarks about the deletions by
I used to test each download and then come back later to watch it when I first downloaded a programme, I still would get the same 29 days for each programme whether I had watched it or not. Now if I partially watch something I must finish watching it within 1 day 20 hours or so or lose that programme off my downloads. A very poor "enhancement".
It often occurs to me that no one really tests these upgrades or actually asks what the customer wants.
Which again brings me to Virgin Media, they have on a number occassions asked me what I want in a new feature, at least they try. Sky seem to just launch it and the customer has to lump it.
