I am also a Virgin Media customer for my business and i have to say in my dealing with them they have been completely useless,i pay for a 1GB line with Virgin Media adn i am mid way through a 36 month contract and they have yet to actually provide me anywhere near the service i am paying for,they are unable to diagnose the issue and so i have to call every month so they can readjust my bill.I would leave but they are the only company that can provide a sufficient speed for my business needs(80mbps just won't cut it).
When it comes to Sky's customer service it used to be great,Live chat was answered within 10 minutes instead of the hours it can take now,Customer service via the phone was the same if not quicker and when i had issues they where sorted within 24 hours,where as now it can take upto an hour to speak to someone and it can and does take days for a reply or a fix(i acknowledge that Openreach are the main issue for phone and broadband repairs and Sky can do nothing about that).The desicion to remove Sky staff from helping via the forum was also a poor decision although i can understand some of the reasoning behind it.
