I managed to fix it. I uninstalled all skygo (even the new download first) with an app installer my Macbook came with as the skygo app didn't show up in the finder. I then re-installed the new app as prompted from the webpage again. It then was trying to load it and kept saying "looking for updates" while loading it. But after a while it kept saying "couldn't log on at this time Error 00002" at least something along those lines. It occured to me to manually delete all the sky cookies and bskyb cookies I coould find on the browser and after that it just worked again. So my guess as an amateur is that the old cookies don't go with the new app may be. try this, some people told me it worked for them as well when I posted it. may be worth a try. good luck
