The first thing to say is that the new app is a real resource hog...you'll need a failry quick computer just to run it, one considerably more powerful than under the old system.

 

Having said that there does seem to be some possible interaction with Anti-Virus programs..including the built-in Windows Defender. Try simply disabling AV programs for an hour and see if it works OK then. If it does you can set up exceptions in the AV programs to specificaly exclude the Sky Go and Cisco Videoguard appswithout comprimising other security.

 

Shouldn't have to jump through these hoops really but..
