Re: "An Error Has Occured, The Application Must Now Terminate" on Sports Channels

I have seen a myriad of these posts that have two standard responses.

 - Change your time and date settings to UK standards.

 - "It is not a Sky problem"

 

Since I have changed my date and time settings, and I'm certain that they are correct, if I were to accept that it is not a "Sky problem" then it must be my browser. Based on that assumption I loaded Firefox in safe mode (i.e. with all your addons disabled) I ran Sky Sports 2 today (watching the cricket) for over an hour without the "ten minute" timeout bothering my viewing. I have now started to turn my addons, one by one, and watched again for ten minutes in a stint and as yet I've not found which addon is causing the problem; But I am certain I will find it soon.

 

So I suggest anyone who is experiencing this annoying problem to try this method because I promise you it works. (At least it does if an addon is causing the problem.)
