Yes the IPad Pro 11” is the same. Sky among others are STILL playing catch up... Amazon Prime is another example of lack of support for the new ipads. You will also find logs of games not supporting the new resolution. 

Yes you are correct Netflix managed to update their app within a week of the new IPads launch.
