Also went to Help Desk who had me uninstal Cisco & SkyGo folders. Reinstall did not work but I closed the error message (clicking on X) and behind this was another message:
CONNECT YOUR APPLICATION
ctv Framework not installed, call initialise () first
Try Again
I clicked on the Try Again box and SkyGo worked.
Have to do this each time until they work out an update to fix which is weeks away.
