There is this thing regarding what to do when you have error codes. I changed the silverlight settings as instructed on sky go, and after 3 days of getting error messages saying the Internet explorer has stopped working, and trying everything, including Microsoft accessing my computer remotely, changing the silverlight settings actually worked. I couldn't believe it and it was so simple. Try this. :-
Sign in to the Sky Go site.
Select any programme from the Sky guide to watch.
When you see the on screen message, right click on the playback window.
A Silverlight box will appear on screen.
Click on Silverlight.
Select the Playback tab.
Make sure that the protected content playback tick box is checked.
Select the Application storage tab.
Make sure that the box for enable application storage is checked.
In the Website list, select the entry for go.sky.com and press Delete.
If there are multiple entries for Sky Go or Sky Player, repeat the steps above to delete these from the website list.
Close the Silverlight preferences window.
Click the Home tab.
Attempt to watch the programme.
Good luck guys!!! 😉
