I've merged two threads on similar subjects. We had an issue where customers were unable to sign in to TV from Sky. This can be resolved by the following workaround.
- Try to sign in again - Some customers have advised this issue was a temporary fault.
- Close the app by pressing the PlayStation button.
- Reset password via Sky.com on the PlayStation browser, Then logout and login to Sky.com within the PlayStation browser and if presented with the captcha, complete it.
- Once you're successfully able to sign into Sky.com.
- Open The TV from Sky app on the PlayStation and login with the new password.
There is another issue that is currently under investigation where you are presented with a black screen and no error message at a set period of time, 10, 20 and 30 minutes for example.
We're currently looking at replicating this and working out a root cause. What would help with this is if you could reply to this thread with some additional information on your setup. Only if you are affected by the periodic black screen issue.
We're looking to find out:
- The geographic location of the console (very general area fine)
- Internet service provider
- Hardware – router/hub/switch?
- Channel and on-demand content affected
