Many thanks for acknowledging my thread. Clearly this is a national known issue given its responses and hopefully can be fixed soon, or a rollback to previous version whilst a patch is being worked on.
I spoke to a Sky support member on friday 26th who advised the bullets points you have laid out below as an attempt of a work around, however no joy.
My PS4 console is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK to where I link my SkyGo Extra to my Sky account.
ISP - Virgin media, with a Super hub (that supports SkyGo on all my other devices), and a download speed of 18mbs, well above the recommended 2.
The blackout occurs on live tv after 5-15 mins of viewing, also occurs in on demand viewing, however it is more prone to a spinning/ buffering icon that does not resolve itself. The only resolution is to force quit the app and then relaunch to have to watch from the entire start again. Clearly not ideal for both scenarios. Not much point having Sky Movies & sports when I can’t watch them.
