I also recently purchased an Asus C434 and share the same problem (I have also struggled with the Netflix/amazon prime video apps, but their in browser players negate this issue).
I have been in touch with Sky customer services about this issue who have said:
'I wish to inform you that Sky Go is not compatible with Chromebook. However, I will take your email as a feedback and pass it to the relevant team.'
Through other forums it is clear that other chromebook users are able to download and use SkyGo, so something doesn't quite add up. I have pressed for more information on why our Asus C434s are unable to download the app, I will share any helpful or relavant information received to this thread.
