I feel your pain. When I logged my complaint earlier I advised that the ability to roll back to a previous version on the PS4 would be advantageous to users.
The Sky adviser also said they had a similar amount of backlash when they stopped supporting browser playback (which was one of the most stupid decisions imaginable!).
