I’ve just joined Sky, but Sky Go wouldn’t work on my ipad, but it did on my (small screen) smartphone. I was getting the “technical issue” error message on the ipad.
I just solved it- I use a VPN and there was a problem in the time setting on the VPN server compared to Sky’s. I stopped the VPN on the ipad, turned off autotime setting & re-enabled it, then restarted the VPN, hey presto Sky Go is now working! This might be the source of several complaints I’ve been reading on the forum. I found the solution at this web address:
