I recently upgraded to windows 10 and sky go stopped working. I did not get any error message just a black screen and my PC would not register as a device.
I have been in contact with Sky and they have resolved the issue.
The process is:
1. Uninstall PlayReady from "Programs & Features
2. Enable Explorer to show hidden files and folders. Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\ and delete eHome and PlayReady folders. You will need to close all browsers to do this otherwise you will get a message saying another program is using the folder.
3. Uninstall Silverlight from "Programs & Features
4. Open up IE11 and log into Sky Go. When you get the message asking to update or install Silverlight, install Silverlight. Refresh the browser window and hopefully Sky Go works - it did for me.
