My friend I am exactly the same, I get the same error code, I used the sky guidelines for fixing the issue, multiple times and refreshed it. I still got the 6030 error code. I have also been on the phone to sky for about 2 hours today. They blamed silverlight first, so I uninstalled and re installed it, then they came to the conclusion that it was my laptop and the drivers on my laptop, I expressed that my drivers are fine and that they work for everything else and only last week I used skygo with the same laptop to watch walking dead.
I'm replying to you to let you know it isn't your pc, it seemed like an excuse to get me off the phone to be honest.
I'm reading that many people have this issue and SKY have no real way of fixing it.
I'm bitterly dissapointed in Sky for keeping me on the phone for 2 hours and not resolving my issue. Sky cost £70 a month it should work fine.
I will be taking this issue to social media and deleting my sky as I heard you have much less issues with their competitor.
