So, I've disabled the PIN (as much as you can do) on our Sky Q boxes.
This works as expected, you get asked for the PIN now and again.
So lets pick something like a recording of Blue Bloods. I don't get asked for the PIN when watching this on our Sky Q boxes.
If however I try to watch this via Sky Go (on the laptop in the study) via the recordings options. So watching the recording on the Sky Q box, not downloading on demand. I am asked for a PIN.
Is there a reason for this? Have I missed a Sky Go setting somewhere.
It's not the end of the world, just wondered why the difference.
