This error is normally cleared by making changes to your PC/Laptop rather than the Sky Go service.
We've collated a quick list of all known fixes. They aren't guaranteed but have been shown to work for some customers.
Audio/video driver incompatibility
Try updating your drivers manually by downloading them from the manufacturers website to your computer.
Dual input monitors
If you have a dual input monitor then disconnect or disable the 2nd monitor.
Have your Laptop/PC connected to a TV
Try removing this HDMI connection.
Monitor drivers
Make sure in device manager you have your monitor enabled. If it is enabled, try disabling and re-enabling it.
Windows media pack (Windows 10 customers)
Installing windows media pack (official Microsoft software) it has updates that can sometimes remove the error.
Team Viewer software
Anyone using the desktop sharing software will have to deactivate the software.
