Try uninstalling the app and the hidden files by following these instructions:
Close Cisco VideoGuard Monitor
- On your keyboard, press 'Ctrl', 'Alt' and 'Delete' at the same time to bring up Task Manager.
- Select 'CiscoVideoGuardMonitor.exe *32' and then End Process.
- Select End Process again.
Uninstall the Sky Go desktop app and the Cisco VideoGuard player
Make sure the Sky Go desktop app is closed before trying to uninstall it.
Windows 7
- Select Start, then Control Panel.
- Select Programmes and Features or Uninstall a program, then uninstall ‘Cisco VideoGuard Player’ and ‘Sky Go’.
Windows 8.1 or later
- Right click the Windows button, then select Control Panel.
- Select Programmes and Features or Uninstall a program, then uninstall ‘Cisco VideoGuard Player’ and ‘Sky Go’.
Delete remaining Sky Go and VideoGuard folders
Windows 7
First, you’ll need to make sure you can view hidden files. To do this:
- Select Start, Computer, Organise and then Folder and search options.
- Select the View tab, then make sure there’s a tick next to Show hidden files, folders and drives.
- Select OK.
Now, delete the remaining folder. To do this, still in ‘file explorer’:
- Select (C) Drive, go to User > [yourusername] > AppData > Local > Cisco > and then delete the 'VideoGuardPlayer' folder.
- Select (C) Drive, go to User > [yourusername] > AppData > LocalLow > Cisco > and then delete the 'VideoGuardPlayer' folder.
- Select (C) Drive, go to User > [yourusername] > AppData > Roaming > and then delete the 'Sky' and 'Sky Go' folders.
- Open the Downloads folder, then delete all ‘SkyGoInstaller’ files.
Once you’ve finished, empty all Sky Go and Cisco folders from your Recycle Bin.

Hope this helps.
I was having the same problem - Sky Go stopped working and I got the 9903 message, even if it was the only thing I seemed to be running. So here's what I did.
I went to my applications folder and switched on QuickTime and then Quit it.
I went to the Activity Monitor and searched for QuickTime and it was there, so I clicked the little cross in the top right to stop the 'process' QuickTime vanished from the list.
Opened Sky Go App and it worked!
I think that some people think that because it's not open in the dock that it's not running (that's what I thought). But find it in Activity Monitor and shut it down and see if it works for you.

Sky sports on go
Ive downloaded the sky go app. But with sports etc im getting the message "You have to be a sky customer with the relevant subscription to watch" We are and we have! Can anyone please help as finding the information is a nightmare on sky's pages. I'd have no problem finding info on how to give them even more cash!

Sky Go no working on my android phone .
Every time I go to select a program to watch on my Sky Go app i get a message telling me that i can't watch the program as i have recently connected to a new sky Q box and i need to reconnect to the sky Q box. But i have not even got a sky Q box, i am using a standard sky+ box which i have had for quite a while. So no new sky box of any kind has been connected. So why i get this message and can't watch any programs is a mystery?

If you haven't already I would suggest uninstalling the app, rebooting your device and installing the app again.

When I go into skygo downloads there is a programme which I want to delete but there doesnt seem to be an option to delete. How do I do this?
