@Axewarrior , can you tell us what worked like a dream? Many of us have yet to find a solution, and Sky will not/cannot resolve the issue.

Another person to add to the pile. Got a clean Win11Pro install on a micro PC off eBay in the hope of getting a less confusing than swapping between screens on a laptop option for a bedriden elderly relative and surprised to find this issue when installing SkyGo app, have updated to the latest graphics driver etc. This is a totally clean install on a PC with no other software yet.
I assume that since it's not sorted they are not sure of the root cause but it seems a little like a DRM issue maybe? since the adverts etc play. iPlayer works on the BBC etc.

@KevNewMedia Hi, Apologies for reaching out directly. Do you why this would suddenly stop working after all these years of working on older versions of Mac OS? Is there anything I could do like updating the preferences file that comes packaged with the installer?
As mentioned above, this was all working fine until around May this year, when the wider Mac OS issue was raised and fixed in August.
Resolution (for me at leat), of Windows 11, sound but no picture issue
I complained to Sky about this. Its on a Windows 11 desktop. After the usual of uninstall, removed all files and re-install, which did nothing. They suggested I try the idea mention here (which did not work for me before), of shutting down process. I have found this works 7 times out of seven.
Below is the exact proces I did
1 Load SkyGo
2 Re-size to about 1/2 screen size.
3 Chose sports, then TNT Sports 2
4 Sound but no picture shows.
5 Load task manager (Cntl, Alt, Del),
6 Expand list of SkyGo tasks (usually 4).
7 Start ending tasks, with the top one, its usually the first one, sometimes its the first few. Worked each time.
You may find that the close window x in the top right does not now work, but you can still close the programe in the task, bar.
Works, not ideal but hopefully Sky will fix this.

Which version of Windows do you have - 10 or 11? And is it up to date? And do you have any antivirus or antimalware products installed?Don't know much about how Skygo works, but having 4 tasks in Task Manager is normal.
Full screen problem
While watching live football matches on my Windows 11 PC (Edge browser), the standard picture is fine. When I select `full screen,` however, I get the pause and 10-second rewind icons in the center of the screen and about 3/4 the height of the picture. Do you have any ideas, please?

Why can I not watch channels TNT sports and Discovery + om any of my non sky q connected devices. When I get into TNT or discovery+ it tells me to contact my provider.

Keeps disconnecting from internet
When not used for a while sky keeps disconnecting from internet and has to be reset.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.

I keep getting an error message on Sky Go saying the app is unable to connect to the stream.

Watch sky go abroad
I live in Ireland and have Sky and want to watch it in other EU countries whilst on holiday but I get an error message about not being able to watch Sky Go outside of the UK.

@Herm1 This occurs when sky thinks your registered postcode is a uk one rather than Ireland

I'm using Windows 11 that is up to date and Total AV virus protection. It says the app needs to be enhanced or elevated. 🤔
