As a new customer we are are trying to play STV programmes on our TV playlist, namely, Coronation Street and Emmerdale. TV screen just goes blank. Contacted STV who are unable to identify why we can't play them back via SKY. On my iPad, connected via Sky Wi-Fi if I shut off VPN and I can play them. But I do not have VPN on TV. This is spoiling things for my wife as we didn't have this problem with Virgin Media - we left them for other reasons. This needs sorted ASAP as it is spoiling our enjoyment of Sky.

This is still a problem. Sky Go ui is completely unresponsive while watching channels such as F1. Needs to be escalated...

Sky Go app on Apple TV 4K 1st gen - navigate app okay but content not playing
Hi,
I'm having some problems over the last few days watching Sky Go on my Apple TV 4K 1st Gen. I've been doing it successfully for years.
The app opens fine, and it's possible to navigate, use the search function, TV guide etc. however, as soon as I click to play the content I get the spinning grey loading circle that appears constantly, never showing the live or on demand program I've selected. The app appears to crash and I have to force close it.
I've update my Apple TV software and deleted the Sky Go app and re-logged in, but neither of these work. Any suggestions?

Ok have you tried changing browser?
I cleared all my downloaded files. deleted them then removed from trash.
I was using google chrome to download the files. I then swapped to safari went to Skygo and downloaded the MAC files and hey presto it worked.
Maybe i got lucky. Not sure but it worked.

streaming keeps freezing?
We would be watching a film, sports or saved programme and the tv sometimes freeze or go to a blank screen and the only way to correct this is by unplugging the router and tv and turning the back on, by time we get it going we have lost a chunck of the programme, so annoying!
Sky go connection issues
My iPad will not connect to my sky box! It was working fine last night but this morning it has decided it can't find my sky a box!

Hi Martin,
Sorry to hear you're still struggling with the issue. I offered the Blob_Storage and Web_Storage purely as an anecdotal wayfinder; it doesn't really matter what the folders are called inside the main folder, the main thing is to move the contents to the trash.
What seems to happen is that when Sky Go starts up, if the folder is empty, Sky Go is forced to recreate the folders, and in so doing the app is able to refresh itself.
Give it a try and I think you'll be fine ☺️ Good luck.

It's the same on the Sky Box so not a Sky Go issue. Every episode in the series is one number out.

It appears that the error is due to a behind the scenes episode
has the text in description of (s12, ep 1), and has put the episodes descriptions not matching up

@Disalvo If case you aren't aware this is a communtiy forum of other Sky customers, so if you have particular issues with your Wifi /broadband your best thing to do would be to call Sky to report the issues and see what can be done to try and improve it.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
