I think I've sorted it. I've removed all my devices and then relogged into sky go and I get access again! Weird!!! Many thanks for your help!

It doesn't matter what I use. 5G or another WiFi connection. Always have a good service and can connect to app and tv guide with no issue. It asks if I want to record once or series and then I see the R against the program. Then nothing on my scheduled recording on the actual Q box.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.

What version of Andriod is it running so is it up to date ?

Regularly when I turn on Sky I have a black screen and no audio bit the programme is clearly playing as the time is counting down. Sometimes it eventually kicks in, turning off and on again doesn't make any difference.

Give this a try:
1, From your desktop, select Go from the top toolbar
2, Press and hold the Option key on your keyboard **This is really important - it allows you to access folders on your Mac's Hard Drive rather than your user folder**
3, Select Library
4, Open the Application Support folder
5, Find the Sky Go folder
6, Move everything IN the Sky Go folder to your trash. **Don't take the enclosing folder, just its contents** - anecdotally, incase it helps somone identify the contents, the first folder/file in this folder for me is called "blob_storage" and the last is "WebStorage"
7, No need to empty your trash bin, just restart your Mac
When you next open Sky Go you should be given the option to select cookies and then log in.
can no longer access sky go
Recently changed broadband provider from virgin to sky. Since doing so I can not access Sky Go on my ipad. Message comes up that I need to authorise device but can't work out how to do that.

The message is usually caused by using a VPN so if this is the case you will need to disable it when using the Sky Go app.

I got the same error as described but this worked for me…took some finding though!
- Deleted Sky Go ‘SkyGoInstaller’ from the Downloads folder
- Deleted Sky Go app from the Applications folder
- On the desktop click Go > (hold down the option key) > Library
- browse to Application Support > Sky Go > Delete all files in this folder (keep the Sky Go folder itself)
- Empty the Bin
- Reboot the Mac
- Download and reinstall Sky Go
You know it has worked if you get a prompt asking about Cookie settings when launching the app after the reinstall. I see others have deleted the Sky Go folder…you need to keep the folder but delete the contents for this to work.
