Error code 50-9-403 when using Sky Go on iPad

I was watching a show on catch up yesterday and it stopped midway through. When I tried to start watching again, I continued to get the error code 50-9-403, with text saying that the maximum amount of devices have been reached on my account. This is not the case, as there is still one slot free and the iPad I was using is one of the named devices. 

 

I deleted the app, restarted my iPad and reinstalled, but with no success, as the same error message continues. I have tried using 3G and wifi,  but get the same message. 

 

Any ideas on a solution to this would be welcomed.
