Sky Go Desktop error c:37540 / cor: 20210

Heyo.

Platform: PC

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)

Browser: Firefox v 42.0 and Chrome v 46.0.2490.86 m. I use Chrome for 99% of things, but Firefox for Sky Go as Sky Go is no longer supported by Chrome.

Sky Go Desktop Version: 2.1.4875.37760 - Windows and Mac

Hey, so my PC crashed while using Sky Go Desktop a short while ago. After rebooting my PC, the Sky Go Desktop application no longer works. I have searched the forums but no resolved posts appear.

Upon trying to open the program, the following error appears:

> An error has occured and it has not been possible to start the application. If the problem continues check the Sky Go FAQs at www.skygo.com/helpc:37540 / cor:20210.

As per below image.

I restarted my PC and the error persists.

I have uninstalled the application and upon trying to redownload the application and run the executable from the Sky website, the exact same error occurrs.

Running the program as an Administrator does not resolve the issue.

Uninstalling the program, running a separate program to clean up/restore dll errors, before attempting to reinstall results in the same error.

Updating MS Silverlight does not resolve this issue.

Following the steps outlined here does not work. Please note the steps on removing PlayReady data could not be completed because a: SkyGo could not be opened due to the initial error, and b: no PlayReady folder/data exists on any hard drives (I've searched). Only the odd EULA .txt file result, but nothing else.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone had any info on how to fix this.
