Yesterday, no I don't have my installation yet but upon completion of the subscription the site tells me I can use sky Go... I'll wait until installation date and see if that makes a difference

If your equipment hasn't been installed yet then you won't be able to use Sky Go. Until your equipment is installed, your subscription is not active.
