In the meantime I have an ad-free workaround:
- Make sure your device is registered as a Sky Go device: https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-go/howd-you-like-to-view-or-remove-your-registered-devices
- Select the Download to Device option in the Q App
- In the Q App go to Home -> On my Device
You get to watch your show with no ads!
