As I reported earlier, my PCs that didn't have the new app installed on them still play the old system using Internet Explorer. The one PC which was 'contaminated' by having the new app installed would not run the old web system (The blue cliunky silverlight player.) So I uninstalled Cisco - which Sky puts on with the new app - without asking by the way - (and ran a registry cleaner) and BINGO! the old internet explorer hyperlink now works again with no prompt to download the new junk. The old one plays fine once you get the channel going, and setting the Sky 'what's on' page as the default home page saves a load of mucking around. So clean up your apps, and hunker down until Sky get the app sorted so it works. Oh and if you run out of slots on your devices phone Sky and play hell about the new app screwing up your devices. and they can wipe all your device registrations so you start again with a clean slate until your slots are full - none of this 'only one change a month!'
