Exactly same issue here! I reinstalled app yesterday to try resolve but then couldnt even get the 'recordings' icon to show.  That did appear this morning and I could access the Sky Q recordings...

Are you trying to register a new device or are you trying to view TV on the app on a few devices at the same time? Everybody should now be able to have 6 devices registered but the concurrent viewing...

Are you connected to a Q box when trying to view? Not sure what the device limits are when connected to a Q box but I imagine there is a similar limit in place.

Ok so do you have the Q experience? Do you have any mini boxes switched on whilst trying to view on Sky Go? Does disconnecting from the Q box give the same error?

Okay don't quote me on this but I think the limit of connected devices to a Q box is 2. Try turning a mini box off and see if it then lets you view on Sky Go.

Actually hold on... you said yes to the same error when not connected to the Q box? So if you switch to 3G/4G you get the same error?

Iv only got the 1tb box but sky go as been working fine till today. I'm getting the 2tb box tomorrow pal.

You could try rebooting the Q box and router to see if that helps. Or see what happens when you change the box tomorrow. Maybe try connecting the app and viewing whilst the engineer is there and see...

How many device are you using with Sky Go when you see this message as we can only use 2 at the same time., if this does apply then you will have to contact Sky support so they can look into this for you,
