You need to click on 'Join Beta Group' in the Play Store. Once approved you can the download the latest version and SkyGo should then be ok. It worked for mine.

If itSky Go Extra hasn't appeared on your account I would give Sky a call about this. You don't need this to register a device as all you need to do to do this is to just watch something on the device.
