Hay there it says I need to connect to my Sky q box I did that when I downloaded the app but I’m away from home so just wanted to try watch stuff on mi phone

It should give you a continue button that then allows you to proceed and use it. I did this just a few days ago

Yea it did while I was sat in the house but I’m a HGV driver and away from my house, so it just keeps asking me to connect to my Sky q box??

After installing a back up from iTunes my Sky Go won’t download from the App Store

What was it you installed a back up off and what is happening when you try to install the app ?

You haven't said what device you are using so I would suggest uninstalling the app then turning off your device and then back on again before installing the app again.

I reinstalled from an iTunes backup which was fine but when I tried to open the app it stated it was no longer available (not the case)
I deleted the app and tried to download it again but despite the App Store showing it is in my cloud it won’t download

yes it is the UK App Store, all the other apps downloaded fine its just Skygo which unfortunately I use more than any other app

My PC is being slowed by the Sky Go App on Windows 10 with the following spec. Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit, 8Gb RAM & Core i5, 3210M - 2.5ghz.
Whenever I run the app it runs at 50/60% of the CPU on my PC and sometimes spikes to 80/90% CPU. This cannot be correct and I would think that it is an issue with the app or the Cisco software that also runs with it.
CPU useage runs at 30/40% for the sky go app and the same for the cisco videoguard.
Did you exclude the Sky Go directories from your AV so your AV does not scan them? I did with Windows Defender and it did drop the CPU usage.
