But this does not explain why I am unable to watch my purchased (through Sky) & downloaded movies on my iPad & why sky has Declined to answer my query about this problem for the past 5 weeks.

As a Sky customer, I am getting very fed up about the total lack of customer support about a pricey service.

 

it increasingly seems that this is a service that does not deliver and I am paying too much for.

I’ve just checked this on both the TV and Sky Go and it is working perfectly. Try closing the app and restarting and if that fails you could uninstall it and reinstall. Unfortunately you have given no details of the system you are using.

Catch Up - SkyGo

Hello. My sister has been watching Masterchef Australia on catch up and all has been working fine, but for some reason episode 16 that was only recorded Tuesday is not allowing her to watch it, but saying download only. I have been trying to get an answer out of Sky to why all other episodes you can watch and it is only this episode that you cant. You can also watch episode 17 on catch up, so it is just this one. Has anyone else come across this problem, that you can watch all other episodes apart from 1 of a series? Sky seems to be having a problem of actually finding what the problem is and letting me know. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi . I am trying to get Sky Go to work on my tablet. However I get the following message 'To enjoy this service please upgrade your subscription' . To the best of my knowledge I have the best (and most expensive) package available. Does anybody know what the problem is or where I'm going wrong???? Many thanks

I tried to put Bluestacks on my windows laptop, but it's so complicated, lol, silversurfer ., I'm not tech enough.

I'd probably be the same. I trid something similar before but Sky seems to block everthing going through a laptop. I don't want to take both my laptop and tablet on holiday anyway, which is the only time I would use it. I just wish Sky would get their act together and sort out the error!

the BLEEP was auto-inserted.  I originally wrote "taking the **bleep**" so changed it to "extracting [word beginning with "u" meaning human waste water]".

I phoned sky and they eventually phoned me back and done a remote access on my laptop and fixed the problem. Watched them all the way, it took 10 to 15 mins.

It would be helpful if you could tell us what you are trying to watch and of course exactly what you subscribe to.....

There were some problems yesterday evening that were producing errors like this but they have now been fixed.

 

If you are trying to view boxset content then you need to be subscribing to the boxset package.

Ive been trying to watch anything as I get the same answer to whatever I want to view. I have access to sports/movies/kids/entertainment/documentaries/boxsets

I have tested with Bluestacks Android Emulator and its worse again so that is not an option, worth a try though sigh

This does happen from time to time, quite why a random episode will be download pnly is beyond me. If you subscribe to Sky Go Extra then you will have to download it to view it. One other possible way to view it would be via your Sky Q or Sky+ box if it is available.

All you can do then is to contact Sky support so they can take a look at it for you by getting into your account.

Hello. Thank you for your response, it's at least nice to know that it does happen with other programmes. The problem is my sister is on holiday and watching them from abroad, so cant watch from the sky box. She records them any way but watches them when away, so doesn't have to come back to them all, so having 1 episode do this is not good. I'm still on facebook with sky at the moment to find out if they can do anything, but it's been over 3 hours so not holding my breath.
