All that can be suggested is to delete the app, clear your devices cache, reboot and install it again.

I’m having a problem getting Sky Go running properly on my laptop. It seemed to install ok, other than saying there was a problem with VideoGuard (I think!). When I try to watch a programme, the picture ‘stutters’ and the sound ‘echoes’. Im running Windows 10 on the laptop.
Any ideas?

Hi. I’m trying to watch Tin Star on Sky Go. It let me watch the first episode, but won’t let me watch episodes 2 or 3. It comes up with ‘Content requested is not recognised’. However it will let me watch episode 4. Anyone else experienced this?

I have upgraded to sky sport for the Ryder cup but when I try to watch on iPad it tells me to upgrade, it’s fine on tv. I upgraded yesterday

If you can view the channel via your Sky box and can't via Sky Go on your iPad then all you can do is to contact Sky support so they can look into it for you:

I have recently just been informed by my SKY go that they haveve updaate-te-te-tes.
I loaded them up and it has got worse.
SKY will always say that the probelm is your end. Then I would like to know how they explain that BT Sport app runs fantastically, streams perfectly never a stutter.
I am afraid nothing will be done until someone takes SKY to court and can prove that what they promise as regards a reasonable service is not being delivered due to the problems at sky , until that happens, then i am afraid it will alsways stut-tt-tt-e-e-err-r.

I think last time I tried HDMI output was disabled on Android devices, been a while since I tried it though.

The biggest problem this issue is creating for me is that I travel a lot in Europe for work, and often find myself on my own in some foreign hotel or other. Before this crappy app was forced on us I'd get sky go up on my laptop and connect it via HDMI to the hotel room TV. Home from home. I wondered if I got a device on which the app works, such as a little android tablet with a HDMI port, I could do it with that.
Seems they're out to spoil the party no matter what.

Give this a try:
Uninstall Sky Go and Cisco and anything else Sky related.
Delete the is folder here - C:\users\”username”\AppData\locallow\Microsoft\Silverlight\is
Delete the PlayReady folder here - C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\PlayReady
Then follow the instructions here from "Delete Remaining Sky Go and Videoguard folders" onwards.
Reboot and then install the app again.
Sky Go on Samsung Galaxy Tab E
Been using the app on a Samsung Galaxy Tab E for a month now and having a lot of issues and crashes. Sometimes it works for 5 minutes other times 15 minutes. I have submitted crash reports but never seems to be resolved with any new updates Sky release.
Have reinstalled the app numerous times but to no avail. Anybody else having issues?
