I had downloaded about 10 things on to my android phone sky go app last week all said they will expire the wend of December, I went back onto my app just now and all have disappeared ?
Just tried to download them again but all saying you have downloaded them the maximum amount of times.
Don't underswtes how they have just disappeared the first time mind??
Do you knowif there has been an update to the sky go app since you downloaded them because if there has been then perhaps this is why they are no longer available.
Hi no there has been no update to the app at all
Then I am not sure what could have happened so if they are still available all you can do is to stream them or wait and see if you can download them again in a few days time.
A new version of the app is being rolled put so can you guys see if the app updates for you. The new version is 1.3.12, only a small number of people will get the update to start with but it is worth checking to see if you are one of them.
I have tried to run Sky Go but it still crashes so I have no idea what version I have. I spent most of my working life in IT and one thing I learnt was not to upgrade too soon. Let someone else do the debugging. It’s therefore irritating the Sky app automatically updates itself without there being an option to turn the feature off or roll back to a previous version. Thank goodness Sky don’t run a bank!
Close skygo app
Go to Utilities>Activity monitor
in the list look for all instances of "sky go helper" click on it and then click the 'X' in the top right of the activity monitor window to remove.
Repeat this process for each 'sky go helper' listed.
Relaunch skygo app
You hit the nail on the head. Sky are very profitable so why do they treat customers with such disdain by providing a shoddy service. This is not the first time we have struggled to get Sky to admit they have a problem.
I am getting this message on a Samsung Galaxy Tab but only when watching Sky Sports Channels 401 to 409...Eurosport 410 and 411 work fine....also Iplayer and ITV Hub etc....this is a little baffling and would suggest its not actually a fault with the Sky Go App entirely....help!!
Ever since having to update to use the standalone app, every couple of weeks it will kick my computer off saying that it's not a registered device, my pc is above the specs needed and I havent changed anything inside the computer hardware wise, my ps3, xbox one, and ps4 are all fine and never have the problem but my pc keeps getting bumped off making me have to remove the device then wait the time it takes to allow another device.

Yes the IPad Pro 11” is the same. Sky among others are STILL playing catch up... Amazon Prime is another example of lack of support for the new ipads. You will also find logs of games not supporting the new resolution.
Yes you are correct Netflix managed to update their app within a week of the new IPads launch.

I had this same problem on my Android mobile phone but only when veiwing over 4G. WiFi worked fine. I have sovled the problem by dowloading and installing an older version of the SkyGo app, in my case Version PR14.2.0.2-700 You can dowload different versions from here
To check your version go to "Settings", "Manage Applications" and click on "Sky Go". To download and install the older version you must first uninstall whatever is on your device. Hope this helps others, as I now have no problem with Sky Sports.

Get Shorty Series 2 episode 7 appears on the Skygo app but isn't actually available to watch or download onto my laptop or ipad. Episodes 1 to 6 are fine and I have downloaded 8, 9 & 10. Just a problem with episode 7.
Episode 7 is there for me and it plays on my PC and iPad or at least the adverts do, are you able to get this far ?

Hi, I carried out your step by step guide successfully, but re-entered in my old details again. When I tried to re-carry out your guide to deleting folders etc, in the 'library' menu, I couldn't locate any sky folders or cisco folders to delete. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
