I contacted Sky and they said they are aware of this problem and are currently investigating it. They said they don't have a timeframe but that hopefully it won't be too long before it's fixed.

Unable to log into My Sky app
I'm unable to log in and everytime I try it just tells me to log in again can anyone help? My password is correct because I can log into sky online with it just not sky go.

Your title says MySky but your post says Sky Go but no matter which one it is have you deleting the app, rebooting your device and then installing it once more ?

Since the latest update our Sky go on the PS4 no longer let's me log in. There is no error code just says 'we are unable to sign you in to tv from sky, please try again later'. This just happened with the update and logged me out which has been a couple of days now.

Version 1.02 – This Sky application has now been updated to a new framework – 25-04-2019Let me start by saying until yesterday viewing Sky Go on my PS4 was rather smooth, a few hiccups here and there but in general it worked rather well.
However, this forced update by Sky on the 25th of April to version 1.02 has rendered viewing Sky on my PS4 totally unusable.
When I now click on the Sky Go app to launch I am greeted with a black screen, nothing else, no load page, no text, nothing except a black screen.
There seems to be other Sky customers via the Sky Community page with similar issues ranging from 10 minutes of viewing then a black screen etc etc.Firstly, I don’t understand how there seems to be varying different viewing issues though using the same app? I would of thought using an app like this its generic so any issues or problems we would experience, we would experience them as a collective not in varying degrees.
Secondly I appreciate this won’t be at the top of the list for Sky to address and fix as there are more important viewing platforms than the PS4 however as this service costs I do expect the research and development of this app to be totally workable in a real-world situation.
This is situation is incredibly frustrating, annoying and should not be happening.
I want to be able to speak to someone directly regarding this matter so I can receive a credible answer to what’s going and when the issue will be addressed. I don’t appreciate being redirected by Sky to the Sky Community page to have a moan on this forum instead of direct contact .Come on Sky sort this mess out!

I also get this initial 'settling down' and likewise don't worry too much about it.
I've been watching the snooker on Eurosport HD whenever it's not available on BBC IPlayer and I get really irritated by square snooker balls and the black lines I keep seeing across the green of the table whenever the camera angle changes. Shame that SKY can't compare to what the BBC provide.

Hi all. Just to let you know I have spent most of the day trying all of the suggestions here. Most work for a short while but all suggestions fail at some point later.
I have had some thirty five years involved with computers starting with basic back in 1983 and I can tell you the problem is as others have said bad and untested code.
Now you cannot be hard on the programmers because to get a piece of software to work on all computers, with all software configurations, all attached hardware, all loaded drives and all applications, is imposable without throwing time and big money at it. Just think how Microsoft have struggled to do it with all their capability and skill.
Sky have us by the short and curlys here, we pay them for the privilege of watching programs that they sell advertising space on, they have completely monopolised such things as F1 leaving us with no choice other than cough up, or leave.
So with this in mind why would they spend any large amount of money on app that gives them virtually no income? It will get fixed for the majority of users eventually, but don't hold your breath.

SkyGo Thinks I’m abroad?
Every time I try and watch something on SkyGo it says ‘your sky content cannot currently be viewed in this country. For more information, please go to www.sky.com/EUportability’, however I am watching using my wifi at home in the UK?!

Try a reboot of your broadband router, leave it off for 5 minutes before powering it back up and wait a further 3 or 4 minutes before trying to use it again.

Have you been abroad recently? I had this after returning from Spain. I also remember reading something about having to sign back in to mysky once you're back in the UK to prove you're still a resident. I signed in to everything I could and it now seems to be working.

I travel reguarly through work. The issue reoccurs even after using the App back in the UK. Using the App in the UK only proves residency but does not solve the problem.

Sky Go
Hi All,
I have Sky Go as are a multi screen HD user of Sky.
for some reason I can’t see or watch downloaded content from my Sky Q box as want to watch F1 but have never got it to work. Live TV is fine, so any help really appreciated.

So Sky have designed it this way? How strange...
BT Sport, Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4.... all of these start near instantaneously with a sharp picture.
It's frustrating for me personally because I'm a channel hopper, my wife and kids monopolise the main TV so I'm normally banished to the laptop to watch sport. I like to flit between channels (football, snooker, cricket, rugby) but given the 20 second delay it's virtually unusable unless you pick one channel and stay there.
First world problem I know but just seems strange that only Sky have this limited architecture...

Sky Go Laptop (Windows) Install Error Code
Hi, I’ve just installed Sky Go on my Laptop, however I’ve got error code PFE 4218. I’ve read previous threads about it being something to do with the Firewall but if this is the case, how do I fix it? Thanks

If you are running a software firewall on your PC then make sure that Sky Go is allowed through it, also and if you can try connecting to a hotspot and then disabling it.

Sky go wont play recordings on ipad ?
Went on flight and put Samsung iPad in flight mode. Watched downloaded recordings fine. On the flight back tried the same and the usual came up that after 48hrs the programme would be removed. However it was as if the screen was frozen and the selected recording wouldn't start ? Tried other recordings the same? Tried switching off, restart but no joy ? Now home and flight mode switched off the can now be played ? Anybody any ideas what went wrong ?
