How SKY say Its ok when it looks like many people have the same issue?  I’m got my old PS3 out with the Sky app (no recent update to this) and it all works perfectly. The issue is just with the new broken app version on PS4.

 

Maybe it’s router or DNS setting but some assistance from sky on things to try would be helpful.

The app now won't even let me sign in, I keep getting the error message:

 

"We have been unable to sign toy in to TV from Sky. Please try again later"

 

This is infuriating

I have the full sky movies package on my account. Do I need something extra in order to download films to iPad?

I think you need Sky Go extra for this.

Sky Go Streaming from Surface Pro

Surface pro streaming live football via Dky Go to Samsung TV is slow stutters and not a great watch.

 

Have powerful broadband so assume it’s Surface Pro or Sky Go App or TV

 

Any Suggestions how I can check what causing problem

Same message for me, tried uninstalling the app and trying again but still the same message

Sky very rarely reply to posts on here hence the lack of posts from them. While they don't post they do read what is posted so they will be aware of peoples thoughts regarding this.

If you have Sky Mobile, Sky Multiscreen, Sky Ultimate On Demand then it is free and is also free on a certain tier from the Sky VIP program. Otherwise it is £5 a month.

Totally agree. We are away a lot and have watch f1 on my iPad but can only watch it live which is not always convenient with timings and other commitments.

Like other people main reason for having Sky is F1 and ending up watching C4 highlights makes my monthly fee wasted.

Definitely thinking of leaving Sky because of this.

Also getting a black screen after about 20 minutes. Changing channel fixes but obviously isn't an actual fix. Tried reinstalling the app but no success.

I am also getting this problem now.. absolutely infuriating! We pay for this service and it should be sorted asap! It's completely unwatchable now. Black screen and whirring icon every 10 minutes

So I have gold VIP and upgraded to have sky go extra, downloaded the app on my son's iPad and my phone, whenever we try and watch or download something it says I don't have the sky subscription. I do have sky movies and entertainment subscription and no also have box sets that I added on a couple of months ago. I need this sorted asap

I need help with removing a device from my sky go account. My daughter let her ex use Sky Go on his tablet and she has removed his device and changed the password many times thinking once she changes the password his tablet will automatically log out and won’t be able to log back in. The account stays logged in on his tablet meaning he is still using the sky go. We remove him and he just watches something and comes back on. How can I permanently remove him?

I’m having the same issue, paying a premium for a service can’t access. It’s since the PS4 service updated

  If you have done this today and tried to use it straight away then this is why it might not have worked yet because it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for it to be come active on the account so if it goes beyond that time then you will have to contact Sky about it.

Same issues here. Update installed, now when watching live or catch up we get about 10 minutes of viewing then the black screen.

 

For live, have to change channel and go back to one I'm watching. For catch up, have to quit the app and go back in. Then fast forward to spot where last was.

 

Borderline unusable out of nothing, was perfect beforehand
