Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? So when I play a live channel or anything on catch-up the image quality is terrible for about 20 seconds and then after that, bang, no problem. It's really annoying and I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it, please help...
If you can access Sky Boxsets via your Sky box then you must already have this subscription as you wouldn't be able to watch them otherwise as a Boxset sub gives you access to them via both your Sky box and Sky Go. So if this is the case I would suggest contacting Sky Support so they can look into this for you,

I'm not sure if this is the norm but this always happens to me when I first start using Sky Go on whatever device I am using, I don't see it as an issue as it might be determining the best picture for the available bandwidth it is using.

Latest update has finally fixed the blank screen issue for me
Sky go not working on xbox 1. Live programmes show an error message and on demand programmes jump back to menu.

Sky go was unusable for nearly a full year for me on PS4 and then finally an update came and things were perfect.
Now, I get 10 minutes of viewing and then a black screen! Sometimes I have to force quit the app. Catch up and live are both the same.

Exact same for me. Previous version worked without a hitch but this is just terrible. Need fixing urgently as I pay a subscription fee for this and is basically my multiroom alternative.
v1.01 was great, if it was simply returned to that i’d be more than satisfied. Pull the update
I don't think it is possible to download purchased content to Sky Go because to do this you would need to use the Sky Store app instead.

Sky said the update from their side is good. I ended up purging my PS4 to try and resolve the issue. Sadly this hasn’t worked and it’s taken me a full day to get back to where I originally started - still without Sky working and the same old black screen...
I too am having issues since the latest update on the PS4
1. resolution decrease. Everything looks blury with channel icons on the 'on now' tab almost un-readable. ( when watching Live TV / Movie, the picture is fine )
2. I cannot view scheduling beyond 1 hour. it will no longer scroll over
3. When searching for movies on Sky Cinema, the thumbnails take ages to load.
I only have Safari, Finder and SkyGo running... cmon Sky get a grip!!.. everytime you try something new it doesnt work... just stop tryig to be 'clever' - cos clearly you arent!... and all you succeed in doing is irritating the many honest legal subscribers who pay your wages!
