Cisco Videoguard is now built into the app and the only possible fix for the 9001 error is a complete uninstall of the app and the hidden files and any old versions of Cisco you might have on the system.
Same problem the sky meta data has too many issues that are slow to be fixed. I want to download sd version of succession and it says i need an hd subscription. Will have to do battle with contact centre and i know they wont fix it.
problem is that the uninstall as per all the instructions on here doesn't work... I've done that several times and resorted to a complete system refresh and OS re-install. The SkyGo installer clearly doesn't work...
Why are so few of my Sky Q recordings available to download to my phone? I wanted to watch some on a long flight, but none of the ones I want are available!
Sky app whwntry to sign in it says web page not available
Try deleting the app, rebooting your device and then installing the app again.
It is usually a rights issue and that Sky doesn't have the rights to all content allowing them to be viewed via the app as you can see here:

You need multiscreen to access the app I think
Just downloaded it to try and it works fine for me with Sky Q and multiscreen subscription
I downloaded the whole series of Big Little Lies a couple of days ago, turned on my ipad yesterday & Sky Go app had updated, now its deleted all of my downloads and will only allow me to download the last two episodes?
The same with Handmaids Tale I can only download them from my Sky Q recordings?
My sister isnt able to download anything on her ipad? What is going on?!!

From what you have said it sounds like the update has over written the downloads and sadly there isn't anything you can do about it if the series is no longer available via Catchup, the same applies to The Handmaids Tale.
As for your sister has she been able to download before and if so what is happening now ?
Trung to watch Sky Go on my laptop and have error message PFE 9500. What does it mean. I am asked to contact Customer Services but that always takes forever.

This error appears to be related to sound card / driver issues within PC. Sound may be disabled in the control bar at the bottom right of the PC this was also disabled in Device manager - to resolve re-enable the sound. Customers have also been able to resolve this issue by plugging in headphones / external speakers into the desktop / laptop.
Same message re 'technical issue'. Got through on Sunday evening after 1/2 hour to Sky support - now awaiting call back. The odd thing is Skygo works on ipad Aif but not 2 ipad minis. They are querying there may be an issue re the SkyQ app apparently which merged with Skygo app but they don't really know! The tech dept need formal feedback so if you're experiencing the same problem - please report it! Make sure you get through to the Skygo App dept.
skygo now down for 4 days. Good job we didn't have to rely on Skygo to watch the cricket.

I have the Sky Go app on my ipad and laptop. Recordings are easy to find on my ipad, there is a tab on the bottom for recordings.
There doesnt seem to be the same function on my laptop Sky Go App. Does anyone know where I can view recordings on my laptop Sky Go app?

You can't view recordings on the PC app yet, but it's coming soon.
