Only one to find out and that is either to turn the Q box of or turn the Wifi connection of and see what then happens with the Sky Go app.

I am just trying to watch live TV on sky go and it is telling me to upgrade my subscription. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still no joy. Anyone have any idea why. I have had this issue for a long time and I cant keep on the phone to sky as their hold time is often so long.
I have an android phone.
Always had a 'message us' option at bottom of troubleshooting which showed all previous conversations, this has disappeared & sky helpdesk doesn't know why?
No update on mac yet. Buffering every 3 minutes whilst watching footie tonight. Twitter skyhelp requesting I private message them. Done this multiple times to be told no issue with the service.

Hi, I get the Sky go not connecting your application error. I have tried uninstalling the app and appdata folders. Reinstalle as administrator. Disbaling firewall. Nothing seems to fix this problem. It has not worked since a Windows 10 update in September. Any ideas? Thanks.

It's stuck on yesterday for me. I go into ITV, select today and the last thing is Buying and Selling which aired yesterday at 6pm.
All4 is completely broken as it has programmes from the 11th of October, 13th of October, 28th of August, 9th of October, 15th of October etc.
I also went to update Sky Go on my laptop on 15/10/19. I carried out the normal procudure for doing this as I have done in the past with no problems. O copleting this hen double cllicking on the Sky Go icon (which has changed to show a chequered like flag in the bottom left corner) I eventually get the message as below .

After two attemps I have received this helpful response from Sky.
" I understand that you would like to know whether Sky+ App will be replaced by the new Sky Go app and you have noticed that there is no planner section on the new Sky Go App.
I wish to inform that Sky is not planning to replace the Sky+ App with Sky Go as they are two completely different apps.
With regards to the planner section on the new Sky Go App, I would like to appreciate that you took the time to highlight this to us. Please be assured, we value you as a customer and assure you that your feedback has been taken into consideration. We will also implement this feedback to improve the service we provide."

Hi and thanks for your advice which i've followed - unfortunately the problem remains.
I've even spoken with technical support who said that the phone will only work for remote record when your connected to the home WIFI, which is nonsense because what's the point of "remote record"
I've tried a restore of mny iPhone but problem remains 😞
I have been getting PFE 9200 on my Sky Go for a few weeks now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times but to no avail. When I saw there was an update (1.5.16) I thought it would sort it, but after fixing the endless updating loop it still happens.
And the thing that really annoys me is I have to sit through 2 or 3 adverts which work fine before 3 minutes of a spinning wheel only to be told 'Something went wrong'.
The mysterious 'refresh' signal is typically sent over the satellite link to your main Sky box at your home address, and does seem to help with various glitches, particularly subscription-related ones. Unfortunately if you aren't there for your Sky Go device to join the same network as the Sky box, I don't see how it can have an effect in this case.

It's okay now but like I said further up in this thread, it tends to get stuck at around 5pm most days and then starts working again the next day.
Whoever you have looking into it may have to wait until late evening to see it happening.
As for the All4 issue - I think that's a different issue as it still does the same thing even when the other channels are showing the Today content properly. Like now the ITV> By Day> Today is working properly but All4 still has programmes that aren't from today in it 🙄
Seems to be time-sensitive for some reasons, and that explains why we weren't able to replicate it. I'll add this detail to the enquiry. Thanks
