  you don't have the options at the top of the TV guide so I'm guessing the app is connected to a Q box? If it is then the app should be getting the channels from the Q box and be on 103.

On iPad with out box set I only see HD options. 
I still can't see anyway to watch this

i should be able to watch any new series on the main sky channels

I have downloaded the new sky go app

to my tablet everything works fine until I try to play anything then it just shuts down the app.  Has this happened to anyone else and is there an easy fix? 😬

They should work from where I said. You just need to find them with the aired date on them.

It also shouldn't matter if it says they're HD or SD as it doesn't matter on the apps.

I am in the same sky WiFi but don't see it. 

But looking at the sky a main box on status it shows watch on sky q app X and watch on sky mini box X.

I have the same problem upgrade required it sends me to the play store but there is no upgrade button google platy app says it's up to date but hasntdvtg been updated since October 2016. Can someone help as it was working before new version

Try re-installing your iTunes or you can also try restoring your iOS but remember but if it is a problem with the app then wait for further updates. I had a bad experience while restoring iOS, I got an error called apple error 4013 . So it is better to wait for an app update.

Have you tried deleting the app then rebooting your tablet before installing the app again ?

No Planner in new SkyGo App

I have just updated my SkyGo App to the latest "enhanced" version.  I previously used the SkyGo App only for occasionslly streaming live sport.  However I now note that with its enhanced features there is now the option to "Record to Sky Box".  I used to use the aged Sky+ App for this feature and it still works fine and emulates the box's Planner feature.  This is very useful to remotely show recorded programs and those awaiting future recordings and to slso avoid potential clashes.

THE NEW SKYGO APP ALLOWS RECORDING TO BOX  (even on an HD+ box) BUT THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A "PLANNER" FEATURE.  This is a major ommision especially if Sky intend to use the App as a replacement for the Sky+ and/or SkyQ Apps.  ( no personal experience of latter!).

You are correct in that the new Sky Go app it does not show the planner from a Sky+ box but seeing as Sky Q boxes are the main thing now this might not change so personally I would stick with the Sky+ app, this is what I use as I find it easier to use that the Sky Go one.

Sky Go not loading, I'm on Windows on my laptop. It says there are updates and when I click to download it says downloading then keeps closing. I have uninstalled and re-installed but the same thing is happening??

 

Any ideas how to get around this,  I am not even getting to the login screen.

Well got a new "update" this afternoon to my Windows 10 desktop Sky Go app.  Hoped that it would be an update that  actually fixed the buffering problems,  that many of us are currently haveing.    Unfourtunateley Not !!!!

The problems are still there allthough there do's seem to be "slightly" less of them judgeing by my own experiances, whilst veiwing live TV  this afternoon.  If any body else has had the update I would suggest you check to see if there are any changes to your own buffering problems.

hi folks - any help would be great.

 

I am away for a few nights with my boys and cannot access any of the movies we spent ages choosing and downloading. There is literally nothing else to do here at night.

 

Previously I was getting an error message telling me to upgrade my subscription. This made no sense, as I do have the movies as part of my package. I phoned customer services, and they told me that they couldnt see anythng wrong, but that they would send a mysterious "signal" to refresh everything, which can take up to 4 hours to work. Sounds like I was being fobbed off, but thats as much as they would do. 

 

Nothing has changed in 36 hrs, so today  I uninstalled and reinstalled the Sky Go app onto my laptop, and downloaded a movie. 
I am now getting a new error message when I press play on the movie, but can't find it when I google. The window for the movie opens, a little buffering symbol appears in the middle, but then an error message pops up saying PFE 9021, and "something went wrong, please reopen the app". 
I have reopened 312 times, approx.


Can anyone help at all, before I actually cry (or throw it out the window)

Yup, I noticed the update on my MacBook Air but not on my iMac... as you spotted no real difference,,, stiil buffers but not for so long... but still connects to the Qbox, which I'm cinvinced is the issue

For that error code all you can do is a complete unistall of the app and some hidden files, help on doing this can be found here  . You can ignore the date and time section and the Cisco file might not be found either.

 

After doing this do a search for anything Sky Go and Cisco related and anything found delete it and then reboot your laptop and then install the app again from the Sky website.

That doesn't give us much to go on so can your provide some more information like what device are you using and what are you trying to watch when you see this error message, for example are you trying to watch live tv or download or stream content from Catchup or Boxsets. the more information you can give the better someone might be able to help you.

Try a complete uninstall by following this guide , you can ignore the date and time bit and the Cisco file might not be found. After doing this do a search for anything Sky Go related and if anything is found delete it then reboot your laptop and try installing the app again from the Sky site.
