Sky go on my PS3 has mysteriously stopped working tried deleting and rediwnloading following dinscussion with sky

Try deleting the app, clearing the cashe, rebooting both your PS3 and broadband router before powering them both up and installing the app again.

Sky go
Hi, I’m new to sky and I got sky entertainment. When I go on sky go it is showing sky sports football. I clicked on it by accident and it started playing. I have not signed up to sky sports. Have I been charged for this. I got told all the programs I see on sky go I can watch. I am confused

Have you got the boxes installed at your home yet? Sky give full access to all content on the Sky Go apps prior to installation but once it's all installed it will be limited to the packages you've signed up for.

Sky don't want to fix this from what I can gather, then just send you round in circles and make it sound like we the customers are doing it wrong when the problem is with their app.
I have a Google Pixel Slate and the Sky Go app is incompatible, the Sky Store app loads then crashes.
The Now TV loads and can see stuff but not tried it yet, but it seems to go a lot further than the normal Sky Go/Store apps.
Sky need to understand that some users prefer to use chromebook devices

It doesn't find series 5 episode 1 catch up, just shows the repeats, but it should find the rest for series 5.
If you want the catch up for episode 1 select catch up>ITV>by day>Friday.

Sky go not working outside home
My sky go doesn't work on the go on my apple device
I've reinstalled the app
checked my internet I can watch Netflix etc but sky go keeps telling me it's unavailable. I tested it in the house and it's works fine , please help?

Just to add my disappointment at the SkyGo app I have been trying to use the new app at home where it connects to the SkyQ box and it is very poor. The buffering is every 10 to 15 minutes on live viewing and the sound is poor. It works fine on a straight broadband connection away from home but not 10 feet from the Q box. I tried watching live TV on it during the Tottenham -Middlesbrough game and had to come out and use the iPlayer, which was fine with no buffering and good sound. I've a 500 mbps FTTP broadband connection that gives at least 300 mbps wireless link so that’s not the issue. Hopefully this issue can be sorted with a few software tweaks.

Think we would all like it fixed, but based on the lack of tangible response from Sky for the best part of a year, I wouldn't hold your breath...it's on the list of things where Sky is slipping behind the alternatives together with casting support from the app. Hopefully, ITV completes its negotiation with BT Sport for Champions League coverage and Amazon gets more premiership games next time the bidding comes round and we can ditch sky for good. 😠

Hi Chris, You can use Windows Firewall or a third party firewall application to block the connection from the PC in question to the Sky Q box. All you need is the Sky Q IP address which you can get from your DHCP list, the device name is often just skyq. Browse further back in this topic for full instructions. Doing this will mimic what you're seeing when it works away from home as your PC will not be able to reach the Sky Q box.
