  The YouTube and Netflix apps should be available standard and free of charge. If they are not showing try this: go to the home menu, highlight settings, press 0-0-1-select, go to apps and click refresh. It normally takes just a couple of minutes but can take up to a few hours, but one way or another the apps should download properly and be available to use.

Sky Go currently unavailable - error code 1404

Hi, just tried to log onto Sky Go and getting this error message. I've tried uninstall ING, rebooting and then reinstalling but still getting the same error code. Running on Windows 10

 

Any ideas on how to fix please.

You are probably looking at the wrong film  as the film you should be looking for is:

I have just seen the photograph of options and as Maser, my preferences are totally different.

To be honest haven't posted recently as just got sick of it - I believe at one time it was suggested that

Skygo could not be used on Iphone or Ipad. I have used Skygo for years on my Ipad (when I had Sky Plus) but since

having SkyQ installed just buffers. If I download items direct to Ipad seems ok but live TV programmes just get frustrating, due to the buffering.

Deleted and downloaded app many times so convinced that it is an app problem.

Tried to delete 'Connect to skygo' tick on Q box but that doesn'y even seem to be an option

 

Any ideas????

Sky Go crashes seconds after starting to view

Hi Guys,

 

I have downloaded the SkyGo app for mac's and when I view this on my machine the footage starts, but within 5 seconds it goes grey. I can still hear the sound until eventually the app crashes and then I have to open up the app again... before the same thing happens.

 

I have tried this on live viewing as well as catch up shows all with the same issue. 

 

Any advice?

Sky Sports Mobile authentication error

Im getting so fed up of this app!! Ive had it years and it always worked perfectly. Over the last 5-6 months something has happened and it NEVER EVER WORKS!! Everytime i open the app it makes me log in again and then just says 'Authentication Error'! There does not appear to be any way to fix this. I emailed Sky several times and i either get no response, but once i was told my account had been reset. After this it worked!!.... for around a week or two, and then once again.. 'Authentication error'. Its 2020, sky should have sorted this by now, its terrible from such a big company! please can anyone shed any light on this?

Casting Sky Sports to a projector

Hi there,

 

I was wondering if there is any way of casting Sky Sports to a projector wirelessly? The projector is located in a different room to my Sky Box and it is attached to the ceiling, so I can't have wires trailing from the projector to my laptop. Just wondered if anyone else here has any experience of watching sky sports on a projector and how you got it to work? I do have Chromecast, but Sky Sports doesn't seem to have the option to cast to that via Sky Go.

 

Any help/suggestions would be gratefully received.

Error 200 - Unable to load configuration

Updated my Sky Go app today on my Macbook and I keep receiving the able error.

 

My wifi is connected and working fine on other devices, my Macbook meets the minimum requirement of IOS update, I have closed the app and reopened, restarted my laptop, disconnected and reconnected my wifi, uninstalled and reinstalled the Sky Go app. NONE of these have worked for me - please can someone help?

I cannot download a purchased movie to my Tablet/phone

I have purchased several movies to the Sky Q box as due to Covid 19 DVD's were not available. Now I cannot download to a mobile device ( tablet/phone) so I can watch them on the move

You’ll need Sky Go Extra to download shows and movies (depending on your subscription) to compatible laptops, mobiles and tablets. You can register up to 6 devices and when you register a 7th it will auto-swap with your least used device.

You’ll need a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription to watch and download recordings from your Sky Q box to the Sky Go app (if you have Sky Q Multiscreen, you will already have Sky Go Extra).

Please note: To watch BBC channels via Sky Go, you will need a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription and be connected to your Sky Q box (not available outside of the home). Some recordings are not available to download to your device due to licensing restrictions.

You’ll also need to have the Sky Go app already installed and have a Wi-fi connection.

I think the option to turn off connection to SkyQ is only an option within the desktop App.

Why does my phone keep cutting out When Im

For a While Now  my phone keep cutting out When I'm speaking to people ??An why when people ring me an leave a message they get Either a 02 or A Voda phone Message ..They also get Music playing as if Someone else is on the phone. Can you help me with This Thanks

I've got exactly the same issue. Lasts about 5 minutes before freezing again.  Anyone got a fix for this yet?

Are you using the Sky Go app? Try the Sky Store app instead, if you are.

Viewing overseas

I'm posted to Cyprus for 6 months and have been using my iPad to watch Sky however it has recently stopped working. My wife is back in the UK who holds the main account and I'm trying to use my device to access sky services as a designated device. With the football resuming today I would appreciate if you could resolve this issue soonest

  Sorry to hear about this - do you use any other apps eg Sky Go? If so do you get the same error on those? For that matter are you able to sign in on Sky.com with your details?

Try getting your wife to watch something on a Sky Go device and see if Sky Go works after doing so.

Make sure the Sky Go device she uses isn't connected to a Q box when doing so.
