They do appear in Sky Go if you select the Record to Sky Box tab at the top.

No, that's not right. You can see the BBC channels wherever you are, as long as that tab is selected.

N  that isn't correct as I am a Sky+ box customer and I can use the app to set BBC recording to my box as Sky Q customers can.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you by either 7pm this evening or by sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

OK, but in my past experience and as we previously discussed this and it wasn't possible (unless I am confused).

In Sky Go I don't see any such tab (any more) for Record to Sky Box.
I can't check further now as I now have Sky-Glass & Pucks, and as far as I can see Sky Go doesn't support Sky Glass at all.

I guess you don't see this option as you are a Sky Glass customer but you have always been able to set recordings via the app to the BBC channels but not watch them back unless the app was connected to a Sky Q box and to do that multioscreen was required.

Ah right ok - with Sky Q you can see them. I guess 'Record to Sky Box' wouldn't be there for you on Glass or Stream.

Hi all!

 

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with Sky Go and quitting unexpectedly on your MAC. Can I check, have you tried these steps below suggested on another thread:

I have the same problem. It seems that a lot of other people do as well. Posts seem to get referred to the special help team, and then any answers or solutions are not visible. If there is a fix can someone post it so that everyone impacted can see it. Many thanks.

There might not be one fix fits all solution as it could be an issue that can only be sorted when someone looks into your account itself so do you want the messaging team to contact you tomorrow about this ?

Thank you for the assist. BTW the Sky Sports app works absolutely fine on the same iPad, the issue  seems specific to Sky Go

Yes I do.  I was logged in and able to watch live tv.  I was connected to the box, I just couldn't download anything

Do you mean you were trying to download something from your Sky Q box, if so multiscreen is need for that so do you have this ?

I do have multi screen too.  However I was just trying to download a programme to my phone ready for me to watch on the train tomorrow.
