Sky is the only streaming service that doesn't have a rotate option. Did they really rhink people would be happy using 1/3 screen size to watch videos. The advise to remedy this fault was to "change the global auto rotate settings on your phone" which is like them suggesting to use a different keyboard. The autororate controls all apps. Once you change it, it messes with them all. Sky are a thrid rate streaming provider. Money from sports is what keeps them going

Had this issue on my windows pc. Did everything as per suggestions and nothing worked. Was fiddling around with different settings and low and behold it eventually worked when I right clicked on the app icon and selected 'always keep on this computer'. I also noticed that whilst in the settings tab it was checked as compatibility mode for windows 8, I unchecked this and then tried again and it worked after checking for updates!

Sky stream, and sky go and sky sports
I've recently purchased a sky stream subscription, along with sky sports. When I try and load sky sports on my mobile via the sky go app, I'm told that I need to upgrade my subscription. Other programmes work fine on sky go. What do I need to do?

I had the same problem and couldn't find anything more to switch off. So figuring that it worked perfectly the day before I simply re-started (re-start not shutdown) my PC and it works again perfectly. Hope this helps...

Sky go, devices
Remember a year or so ago when I used sky go, on a few devices.... my wife's iPad, sons Xbox etc....
there was a limit, and it would only let you swap them out once a month.
having come back to it now, I see no mention of that.
teaching the full quota just swaps one out for the new one your adding.
has the rules changed, is there no longer the monthly change limit?

Broadbandrouter
Had nothing but problems with the broadband router from the day it was installed, had enough of it now and want it sorted, the lights are on on the wall coming in, all lights are green on the broadband router, when we do checks on your test App it says everything is okay, obviously not as we cannot connect to the router through hardwire or Wi-Fi, need a new broadband router

not really how many devices can you have, but more how many can you watch at one time sorta thing.
how many can you stream concurrently?

Disney plus locks up my Sky Stream on play
Reloaded and factory reset my Sky Stream box but when I go to Disney+ app it logs on ok and lets me select a film. But when I press play it locks up the Sky steam and the only way I can get it back is by unplugging it and plugging it back in !! HELP can't watch Disney Plus!!

I keep getting the error code 740 when trying to install sky go on my computer
It will shut down once i click accept cookies and yes I have ran the app as admin and reinstalled it many times, please help! (My windows is also up to date)

Same. reinstalled, checked SIP, checked Rosetta all on - still keeps crashing sometimes immediately sometimes after 5 mins. OS is Ventura 13.2 - Macbook Air M2 2022. Getting really frustrated.
