I have sky sports on TV, and I have sky go app, but I cannot watch premier league football on sky go. Why not as I have it at home and I should be able to watch the same as home surely

The Tottenham match is on TNT sports which isn't part of the Sky Sports channels as you require an extra sub to access the TNT channels, you can subscribe via Sky which will give you access to these channels via Sky Go.

Just downloaded the applicatioin on to a new Mac Book Air, download ends, nothing happens.
No App?

Just to adding to @AlanGTh's "Win 11 on arm64" solution:
Yes, setting up the right 'Compatibility mode' for the application file works if your running WIndows 11 on an arm64 CPU.
I now went down the rabbit hole, tried and timed different options, and while setting up 'Safe emulation' starts the app, ticking these two simple tick boxes offered the fastest app launch:
Step by step:
- Find your Sky Go app folder in ... \Users\<YOUR WIN 11 USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Sky\Sky Go
- Navigate to and right-click on the 'Sky Go.exe' application file
- Select properties from the drop-down menu
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab
- Click on the second to last button 'Change emulation settings'
- Tick the box for 'Use advanced settings'
- Tick the box for 'Disable hybrid execution mode'
- Press 'OK' at the bottom of the pop-up panel (this will also close this pop-up)
- Press 'Apply' at the bottom of the still open panel
- Done, just start the Sky Go app (and close all other windows)
This still doesn't explain why the English version of the app worked for me without these settings, while the German version didn't. But at least I'm not constrained now to my old x64 laptop 😉
@Sky - it would be great if your tech support team actually reads tech related complaints on the forum, and they help users resolve these issues (seemingly some are unrelated exception codes)...

It's crazy. You pay £100s a month to have all the football etc, and you can not even watch it on your console, even if you pay extra for sky go extra! All other broadcasters allow it! I'm a sky customer, but it's no wonder people buy firesticks and watch illegal streams when you can't even watch it on your devices, even if you pay upwards of £100 a month. Not to mention that the first thing it says on the sky go app, on a console is "stream live sport". Once this contract runs out, I won't be renewing that's for sure.

@Thesladman Which is correct with regards to the linear channels, it's only the extra streams customers can't access via sky go

Incorrect. You cannot watch, for example, Sky Sports 1 on the sky go app, on a console. Having previously called sky, after adding sky go extra I was told that this is no longer available. So normal Sky Sports channels other than sky sports news, can not be viewed through a console, even with sky extra. The message shown on the app is ... "Sorry there was a problem streaming this channel. Please select another channel".

What is Sky Sports 1, do you mean Main Event then you can stream it, that fact you appear to have some fault with it doesn't mean that everyone with the same console does.
What TV service do you have with Sky, it is Sky Q or stream/Glass ?

I have Sky Sports. I am interested in Tennis. It looks like the matches are only accessible live. I want to see them later since many are played in middle of night (Australia etc). Is this not possible ?

Disney+ buffering
I signed up to Disney+ through Sky over Christmas. I get endless buffering and programmes not loading. I have checked my BroadBand settings and I'm getting 37.5 downloads and 6.5 uploads which should be more than adequate. Not sure what to do next.

I get the same error on Sky Go
The app is unusable. As I watch most of my sky on the app i am thinking of cancelling most of my sky addons..waste of money. Sky has no idea how to fix the problem that has been going on for many weeks!
