Only workaround that I've been able to use is delete and re-download.
So far 100% success record when downloading 2nd time around but a real pain when having 20+ TV episodes from a box set in a queue and every other one fails to acquire the license 1st time around.

MySky app long winded
After finding the new MySky app thought I'd give it a try after discussion with a sky representative on Wednesday my bills were going to be £48.80 now this morning had an email stating the price will be £60.00 ? Then using the MySky app after 2 hours we gradually got it down to £36.80
a result some of you might add but two hours it would have been a lot quicker by phone such a waste of what should be a good thing.
also because I've changed my date for paying that's an extra £10 plus because I've changed half way through the month I have part of this month part of next month adding up to an incredible £85.51
Sky believe in better .........
mmm this is not what I,m thinking at the moment, come on sky do better and cheaper it's ridiculous the price of entertainment these days

Sky Go giving a blank screen when I say watch it
Hi, I have been using Sky Go for the last year. Yesterday I bought a new laptop and migrated everything over. Now my sky go does not work.
I have managed my devices to have a spare slot.
I have checked the relevant Safari preferences.
When I press watch it a blank screen appears (even after a new pop up screen has been fetched).
If before I sign in I can get Sky News as the default.
I have been through this with Sky "experts" but no luck.
They said try downloading the Sky Go Download app but safari wont let me - another problem!
Any sane person who has any answers or the same problem please let me know.
I am running sierra on a mac book pro - brand new 2017 model.

One plus 5 sky go sound but no video
I have the one plus 5 and sky go plays sound but not video, just a black screen... I have tried older versions of the software like other forums suggest but these have a message when you open the that an upgrade is required and you cannot get past it.. help!!!

OK, so to my knowledge I have sky go extra, which I registered on a couple of old devices, Because my dish is down, due to a tree growing too tall, I tried to watch sky go, but on the newer equipment I now have. Not remembering all the rules and regulations, I tried to download and connect on my mini ipad, but it would not work, so I then tried it on the new i pad mini again, it did not work.
So this evening I come onto my main computer, and after much searching found where my Sky Go Extra devices were registered and removed the old and the new, (as they did not work last night) Now decided to use new computer until tree is chopped down mid August. Imagine then my becoming distraught to be told that even though the 2 newly registered devices did not actually work with Sky go Extra, I still have to wait to 1st August to watch any TV. Now, this may not sound drastic but then come the dilimma. I am expecting to go into hospital for a new knee any day soon, and would have liked Sky Go Extra on my ipad, but as the tree will not be chopped by then I would also like it on my main computer as my only form of watching TV. Yes, I know what you will say, watch it on i pad, which would be great in short bursts, but having poor eyesight, would not be acceptable for an evening. So, the scenario now is 1st August 2017 - put on i pad: 1st September put on Surface in time for my vacation post new knee, and by 1st October I can finally add to my computer.
As this is something I am 'entitled to' within my package these silly 'rules' do seem a tad stupid, and with people these days having several devices, I can understand why 4 maximum but why the 1 month rule?
Apart from contacting Sky, who will probably not be able to help anyway, is there any way I can get to watch my sky subscription prior to 1st August.
Just finally, my dish was moved a few months ago by sky and I was assured the tree would not cause any problems!

The only way to get this sorted is to contact Sky, the reason the one device registered per month rule is in place is because it has to be as the studios want it in place, Sky's rivals have very similar rules for the same reasons.

For the Mac Sky Go uses the new mac player so if you can't download it via Safari browser can you try via a different one and then see what happens when you try to use sky go.

I am afraid that at my age I have been left behind by technology. I tried for a long time to keep up, but the grey cells were dying off even quicker than technology was advancing.

Video won't play on updated sky sports app in the transfer centre
Anyone else having this issue? Every time I go to click on the video is looks like it's going to play but never does. Had this issue for along time and help would be appreciated!

Watching Sky Go from a mobile device on a TV is disabled, you may only use the devices own built-in screen.
