Thanks for your response. I know I can watch the football via the skysports website, but I am trying to use the new app. I realise it is only being used by a small number of existing Sky users, but it is an issue that needs to be resolved by Sky developers.
I hope they monitor these forums and can respond with a fix or suggestion...

If Sky Go Extra hasn't been activated on your account yet then I can't see how two slots have been removed. When Sky's calls centres are open again you will need to speak to them about this.
Sky Go Extra has been free for a while via the MySky app however you do have to be on the Gold, Platinum or Black levels to be able to get it.
Having the same issue on MacBook Pro 2017, Sierra, Radeon Pro 560.
Extreme CPU usage, overheating and excessive battery drain. CiscoVideoGuard is the culprit and I assume this is to protect the video feed.
I AM having this exact same problem, happens the same both on IE and Firefox. All running fine until i try to go into full screen mode then crashes and comes up with a silverlight error link that is not recognised. This has been the case for over six months. Have updated to latest version of both silverlight and IE still no fix! Bloody rubbish

Just had my new router from Sky. Since then my Skt+ app cant connect to my box
It took some time but at last I've found the offer. I still don't understand why this sort of reward is not given to eligible customers automatically it seems crazy to me.

Standard practice for these kinds of offers where a company relies on a large %age of customer not knowing about the offer so saves them money, I seen many companies do the same kind of thing 🙁

Is your internet connection being picked up by your Sky box, to check this go to Settings > Network on your sky box. If it is then have you tried turning the sky box off at the mains and then turning it back on again after a few minutes as this has fixed it for me when I have had connections issues like this in the past.
Hello to all you sky go fans well some have posted that sky go works for you now , well back with this old chestnut again , fox channel keeps breaking out with the sound and the more you watch the channel the more it breaks .. Really when are you going to solve this or maybe you don’t care , really frustrated now constant annoyance the channel and me nagging about it aaaaaaah
A lot of eligible customers have it free already so may also cause issues with accounts if it was addded again automatically.
FOX is working perfectly fine for me.
Oh yes I understand the fact that firms don't really want their customers to know what they can have for free that a lot are still paying for and yes it's not only Sky and IMHO it is a not a good way to treat their core customer base.
It will be interesting to see if my account gets messed up now I've claimed Free Sky Go Extra lol
With this Free Sky Go Extra I now believe that Sky has a good opening if they wanted to to increase the number of devices that we can watch live content onat say £5 a month per device to a max of 3 or 4.

Drops out on live sports all channels on ipad and add to that that if watching live sports it stops after an hour of watching, what a waste of time this app is.
it is still dropping out of Fox after around 30 minutes of use
Hi, using my macbook but sky go isnt working on it.
Everytime i click to download the new sky go player it installs and nothing else... any one else have this problem??
Been watching FOX for over 40 minutes now and there are no audio dropouts.

I know that on Android the issue has been fixed and I'm trying to find out if the IOS has been fixed also.
