That worked for me..
I deleted everything from Roaming and RoamingLow in regards to Cisco then uninstalled SkyGo - restarted, did a fresh install of SkyGo and it it now working..

You should be prompted to update to version 1.01 but guess the black screen is happening just at that moment.
Try deleting the app then go into safe mode & run option 3 - restore file system & 4 - rebuild database.
Then try again.

Sky Sports app doesn't work (error code:-1)
Ever since the new desktop app was launched I have had problems watching sky sports on it. Today the error code is "-1". I'm using Windows 10, and skysports app version 5.0.0.0, which I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've also tried using IE, Firefox and Chrome, none work.
Even the app on my phone doesn't work (neither WiFi nor mobile network), showing error code OVP_00200. So I can't watch Sky Sports on the go at all...begging the question why do I pay for this useless mickey mouse service.
I should also say I buy Sky Sports through my Virgin subscription so I'm not sure if the error lies there?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, WD Discovery was causing the issue for me.
Removed the application, restarted SkyGo and it's now working fine.
Really annoying though as I need WD discovery on my laptop, so no more Sky Go for me!

I am having the same problem. I am new to this so might be a daft question. Do the Skyteam read and give advice on these problems. Surley if there is aproblem with the app they should be aware and sorting it?

There has been a lot if shouting on here about the problem. Many customers of Sky have rung Sky. They are aware of the problems and claim they are trying to correct it, but I doubt they are. Don't jld your breath.

after sorting the error 12000 and had the app working okish (lags and stutters) a bit i now have a new error showing when i launch the app on windows 10 , the error now is 7005 telling me to delite the app and reinstall again ! unbelievable.

Sky go extra streaming limit
Hi, I have go extra & have 4 devices registered but when 3 or 4 of us try to stream it says it's over our limit? I thought as we had extra we could stream on all 4?? We have sky q. Also why are we limited to only 4 devices why can't sky allow at least 2 each???

With Sky Go Extra you can register a maximum of 4 devices only and can stream on 2 of them at the same time, this is all down to rights restrictions put in place by the content providers.

Try a complete uninstall by following this guide as you need to also delete some hidden folders. After you have done this try a reboot before installing it again.
