what i forgot to meantion is i have had the app working for 2 months untill this error 7005 today. what is going on ???????

Try uninstalling the App and delete the Cisco Videoguard Player folder in C: > Users > Your Username > AppData > Local > Cisco > VideoGuard Player and AppData > LocalLow > Cisco > VideoGuard (delete this) and the Sky Go/Sky folders in App Data > Roaming. These folders and files might be hidden so in windows explorer you need to allow it to show hidden files.
Do a search on your PC and delete anything Sky and Cisco related.
Update Java - download most recent from Java.com and install - makes sure you run the installer until it either completes or tells you that it cannot install. This is due to the Java installer also doing a repair on Java components even if it doesn't completely install.
Restart computer - MUST be restarted for Java to update Windows Registry
Reinstall Sky Go and test.

Problem with Skygo app
Since the creation of the skygo app I have had nothing but continous problems with it. The present problem I have is that on the start up of the app it either says checking for updates or downloading update and then it looks like it is going to the loading screen. Then nothing happens and after a short period of time it then always says 'instialisation failed to comlete in a timely manner'. I have unistalled and intsalled the app about 30 times and this problem happens each time. I am getting extremely frustrated with this app and its continous problems.
Can anyone help please?

Try a complete uninstall by following this guide as you need to also delete some hidden folders. After you have done this try a reboot before installing it again:

Hey
I had Sky installed yesterday, so my Sky Go Extra was activated.
I cannot add anymore devices for another 20+ days. Then a 4th after this.
Is there a way around this?

Sky GO won't install on mac
I cannot get SKY GO to install on my mac no matter what I do - the installer downloads and opens but does not install the app - I checked Terminal and this is the error message I get:
Aug 13 10:34:09 installer[4850] <Error>: Install failed: The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.
This is highly frustrating - I am running the most recent version of High Sierra on a mac book pro 15" quad core. The browser version of Sky go worked fine - why did you withdraw it?

Last night the issue wasn’t finding it, but it wouldn’t play. If you searched in box sets every other season was there, apart from season 3.

I believe that to be correct as it isnt possible to register all four devices from the start. As a new customer you can register two then you can register another one after 1st September and the final one after 1st October. This due to restrictions placed on Sky by the content providers as we can only register one new device per calander month.

SKY GO - Can't get it to work on Android mobile
Hi guys.
I have been trying to set up Sky Go on my android phone all day and just can't get live content to stream on my phone.
I have set it all up by creating a SkyID, downloaded the Sky Go app, paired it to my Sky account and am signed in, but I just can't get live stuff to appear, except Sky News!
I have no problem getting to the home page, can view the TV guide, select the channel etc. I want to get Sky Sports News and the other sports channels, but they don't work once I press the play button on the "live" screen. I keep getting the message "YOU NEED TO BE A SKY TV CUSTOMER WITH THE RELEVANT SUBSCRIPTION TO ENJOY THIS SERVICE".
I have the Sky original package with Sky Sports (not HD, although I have an HD+box).
I have viewed Sky Sports News and downloaded and viewed part of another show (not live) but then when I look at my "manage your devices" section, the device is not allocated and there are 2 slots still empty. I thought that the device would automatically be allocated a slot once I view content.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Hopefully it’s working now...had issues with the search on some episodes, but could still get to them via another episode from the season...whereas with this all 10 episodes gave me the message, so couldn’t get in at all

This could be an issue with your account as you should be able to view the channels that are in your package like Sky One and the like so the only option is to contact Sky support so they can look into this for you:

When you uninstalled did you also remove the hidden files:
