Did you try resetting your password on the Sky.com website and then logging in?

For live TV, the black screen comes every 5-15 minutes (workaround is to change to another channel and back again). For on-demand, playback freezes with the yellow buffering wheel anim at seemingly random times, but usually once or twice each hour (workaround is to back out, play some other programme, then back out of that and then resume the frozen programme - no need to close the app).
Also, an additional problem that I've noticed is that the play, stop, pause, rewind and ff buttons on the TV remote (HDMI-CEC ) no longer do anything since the update.

Yes GoT is unwatchable for me on Sky - the amount of adverts totally ruins the experience, plus they do something with the video/audio that speeds it up. I really hope something comes along to the UK soon that startles Sky into action & delivering a vastly improved service (I'm looking at you, Disney+ and Hulu!)
Since my sky go app has been updated on my PS4 I need to keep signing in to the app each time I switch on my PS4.

We're looking to find out:
- The geographic location of the console (very general area fine)
- Internet service provider
- Hardware – router/hub/switch?
- Channel and on-demand content affected

Sky go app updated on my ps4. When I watch a Programme after about 15 mins it stops working. I have to come out the app then back in to resume a Programme I’m watching.
its not internet related as bbc iPlayer for example works fine?

I have moved your post to this thread which is discussing this issue on the PS4 and is being looked into by Sky, as you can see from reading a few posts about some information has been requested by
The amount of errors with your app on both PS4 and PC is very disappointing. Yes glitches happen and they are sometimes hard to pin down due to multi-platform setups but your coding is not of the required standard for real world implementation which implies a lack of QA (Quality Assurance) before rollout.
Maybe if you charged a small amount for the app (such as 99p or £1.99 charged to our ever increasing bills) the money could be reinvested to improve it's reliability and functionality in this increasingly streaming dependant world.
There are also still black screen issues on Sky Go for PC resulting from the last Win 10 update documented in another thread.
I’m having the same problem. I’m with Vodafone for my broadband and contacted them. They have detected a fault on the line and are sending an engineer to investigate. The problem has only just literally occurred as I watched something late last week.
